I highly suggest you take the couple minutes to read this article! It is short and shows a great outlook on contamination OCD, a form that often goes unnoticed!

"Say it before you run out of time. Say it before it's too late. Say what you're feeling. Waiting is a mistake." - Unknown
I think that this quote can be viewed from two different sides. Maybe you are the one who has been fighting a mental illness in silence, but it is never to late to open up to someone! There is always someone that really cares about how you are feeling. Reach out and talk to them, this is not a sign of weakness, this is something that you can't go through alone. Maybe you are a friend or family member of someone with a mental health struggle. It could change there day just by you reassuring them that YOU are there to listen. "Stop waiting for Friday,
for summer, for someone to fall in love with you, for life. Happiness is achieved when you stop waiting for it and make the most of the moment you are in now." - Unknown Sometimes we need to take a step back and look at what we have in the present moment. I challenge you to be more mindful of living in the present as I will too! #BOMyouth2015
The youth summit today was amazing! The courage that people had to share their stories was inspiring! I hope that you all will consider attending next year if you havent already! (I will definitely be going again) Brent Seal and Sarah Irving were amazing hosts! |
